Late summer early fall garden - telling me when it's ready by going to seed and flashing scrappy sprouts.
I've been waiting for my lettuce plants to go to seed before adding new residents to the garden - They have finally done so!
I want to put down a lot of the herbs that I missed out on this year due to a lack of space.
I've also been slowly working on managing the weeds in the garden which has been a good workout for me. I also learned a bit more about how important pruning is, as a lot of my plants (which let's be honest, mostly tomato and squash) have gotten out of hand.
Before, I pruned only once because I wasn't quite sure what to look for and worried about pruning too much... now I know.

I would like to create a make-shift greenhouse topper to use throughout fall, though that may be a project for next year as I don't want to rush without doing some proper planning..or, you know what? maybe I'll give it a try, I mean, learning from experience has been fun for me and helped me get out of indefinitely being in the planning stage.
I have a month or two to get an idea worked out.

What I'm planning to have in the garden for fall:
